Dress fit depends on silhouette. A-line dresses often forgive hip variation, while bodycon or tailored dresses need closer hip and waist checks.

Use bust/chest first for women and chest first for men or unisex jackets, then check waist and layering room.

Cup letters are not absolute volume. The same cup letter changes volume when the band size changes.

Measure underbust level around the ribcage for band size; keep the tape snug but not painful.

Measure full bust at the fullest point while wearing a lightly lined or unpadded bra.

Cup size is relative to band size, so 34D and 38D do not have the same cup volume.

Use sister sizes when the cup volume feels right but the band is too tight or too loose.

Where do I measure bust?

Measure around the fullest part of the bust while keeping the tape level across the back.

Is bust the same as chest?

They are similar circumference measurements, but bust usually refers to the fullest breast measurement for women apparel and bras.

Which size should I choose if bust and hips differ?

Choose by garment. For tops use bust; for dresses check the most fitted area of the silhouette.
